Nowadays, the development of cable supported bridges is concerned much more with the dymamic research on load variation, instantaneous position change and various vibration types than with the static problems, so as to broaden the range of research onnon-linear structure of bridge. This essay starts with the structure analysis, through the research on the difficulties in the course theclassical designs of cable-stayed bridges, points out the main non-linear structure problems included in the design and then, classifiesthese problems. Meanwhile, it offers the analysis methods on non-linear structure problems in the aspects of both dynamics and statics.Furthermore, it illustrates the non-linear structure problems of cable-stayed bridge by using some typical examples.
